Works great for me!.
I have an old Dell laptop: Pentium 166 Mhz MMX (96 Mb RAM) which I use as a Digital Picture Frame. DSL is the only OS I can find that runs on it since it's been compiled without the CMOV processor option. In fact, the memory sits about 25% used, and the CPU usage rarely gets above 25%, so DSL and the picture app is scarcely stretching the old beast. DSL is great!So
Pros:
Works great on old hardware - exactly as it claims to.
Cons:
Bit tricky loading drivers for PCMCIA network cards. Not impossible, just often lots of research for smeone who doesn't specialize in Linux drivers, etc. More
